Chevrolet Silverado EV RST buyers will have “wide” range of color choices to make when placing their orders this week. Just kidding, you can only buy it in one color.
Rumor has it that Henry Ford once said that customers could order the Model T “in any color, so long as it’s black.”. That quote may or may not have actually happened, but Chevrolet is making it true when it comes to the Silverado EV First Edition RST- at least for now.
Customers who submit their order this week will have precisely one color option to choose from- black.
According to the GM Order guide as of today (March 11th), the First Edition RST has only two available color options for the entire 2024 model year. White and black. And white is listed as “late model year availability”, meaning customers won’t be able to order it at the start of production.
The color, simply titled “Black” uses GM color code GBA, which indicates that it will be the exact same color used for “Black” as on the Silverado 1500 and Colorado. There will be no fancy flake, metallic, or tri-coat for this one. Just simple, classic, black.
At least it will look good when it’s clean, aka the five minutes after you wash it.
