The HUMMER EV Pickup and SUV are getting a color pallet makeover for the 2025 model year. GMC’s all-electric super-truck is set to gain and lose multiple color options later this year.

GMC has started updating the order book for next year’s model year of the HUMMER EV. While those updates may not yet be complete, and no official changes have been announced, we are starting to see what colors will be available for the new model year. Unfortuantly, the matte green of the Edition 1 SUV above won’t make the cut, it seems.

The GMC HUMMER EV, reintroduced as an all-electric iteration of the iconic HUMMER, marks General Motors’ significant stride towards electrification within its performance and off-road segments. Launched initially in late 2021 as the 2022 model year, the HUMMER EV combines robust electric propulsion with the rugged, imposing design and off-road capabilities traditionally associated with the HUMMER brand. Featuring GM’s Ultium battery platform, the HUMMER EV offers up to 1,000 horsepower and 380 miles of range. A “WTF / Watts To Freedom” mode enables the HUMMER EV to accelerate 0 to 60 mph in approximately 3 seconds. The HUMMER EV incorporates features like the “CrabWalk” diagonal drive and adaptive air suspension, setting new standards for electric utility vehicles in terms of performance.

2025 HUMMER EV – What’s Staying The Same

First, let’s review what’s not changing for the 2025 HUMMER EV. So far, as we can tell, no significant mechanical changes are planned. That means the Ultium Battery system, the options of 24 or 20 modules on the SUT and 20 modules on the SUV- those are not going anywhere. CrabWalk, WTF mode, Sky View Panels and other features we adore on our own Edition 1 HUMMER EV SUT also won’t go anywhere.  There are no plans to change the styling either.

It also seems that the interior color pallet will not change. That means Lunar Horizon (Jet Black/Light Grey) (H9Z) and Lunar Shadow (Jet Black/Taupe) (HAS) will remain the two interior color choices for 2025.

Exterior colors that will remain on the pallet include:

  • Interstellar White – GAZ – WA-8624
  • Void Black – GBA – WA-8555
  • Meteorite Metallic (Grey) – GNO – WA-633D
  • Deep Aurora Metallic (Dark Bronze) – GXN – WA-135H

2025 GMC HUMMER EV – Color Options Going Away

Starting in the 2025 model year, several color options for the HUMMER EV are going away. Four colors, as of now, are pegged to disappear, including the matte blue offered in the Omega Edition (which is also bidding us adieu)

The following colors are set to disappear on the HUMMER EV after 2024:

  • (G7X) Tide Metallic (Ice Blue)
  • (GC5) Afterburner Tintcoat (Orange)
  • (GLG) Neptune Blue Matte
  • (GKK) Supernova Metallic (Dark Blue)
  • (G7W) Moonshot Green Matte

2025 GMC HUMMER EV – New Colors

GMC’s EV lineup will gain a few new colors to replace those lost after 2024. We’ve tried to match the color codes to options currently in production but these new options seem to be all new. We’ll have to wait and see what they look like. It’s important to note the 2025 order book for the GMC HUMMER EV is still being written, so things may change. However, this is what we know as of today.

New color options for the 2025 GMC HUMMER EV:

  • (GAI) Nagini Metallic
  • (GAG) Habanero Orange
  • (GAI) Graphite Blue Metallic

All three new colors are listed as “Late Availability,” so it may be quite a ways into the 2025 model year before we see HUMMER EV variants in these colors show up at GMC dealerships.
