I have to agree that I love my black truck, espeacially when its all shined up.

I actually swore I would never own another black truck and here I did it again.

Had a black truck in 1985, then went red in 1991 (still have it). Have a 2012 GMC SLT somehere between the factory and the dealer now, am impatiently waiting... Will post pictures soon, I hope.. LOL

This is my first Silverado and my first black truck. I am liking it a lot better than the white POS Ford I had!

black is higher maintenance, but worth it. a good wax every so often, a polish once every two three years, paint WILL look new. I had a black focus before this truck, amd the car looked grey so bad the swirls were. a good three stage polish, then a wax, no swirls for a few years and a ton of washes...all is in how you detail it and the products used.

Well I guess I should post a few pictures of my new 2010 Silverado.

 

I had it clean... but you know how that goes when you have black. Took it in to get the LineX sprayed and it was all dusty when I got it back. Pictures were taken after the box was done so?
