Grammy and I took our granddaughters to El Mirage OHV pk. last sat. The girls have been wanting to ride and our little one,Emily, wanted me to teach her how to ride a dirtbike. She's been riding the little quad for a couple of years now so she's no stranger to mechanized wheels.Sat. we arrived at 5:30pm so the girls got to ride for about an hour.Emmie just rode the quad the first day to remember how things operate.

Sunday morning the two older girls took off so that gave me a chance to work with Emmie. After a few minutes of coaching she tried to kickstart the XR50 I borrowed from a friend but fell over on the left with her pinned under the bike(not running at this point),no prob, she just pulled her leg out and stood it up.I started it for her and let her sit on it to think a little. After it warmed up a little I kicked it gear and away she went.Man was I happy,I had a big ole grin....then the wind came up and we had to pack up and leave.Emmie got maybe 15 minutes of riding. She's already wanting to do it again..
