Red, White and Blue Grill Bowtie Emblems?

Can anybody tell me where I can find a red, white, and blue bowtie emblem - or are some of you painting the OE one? If you are painting, whats the prep required, and preferable type of paint?

You can always make one yourself using some red, white and blue electrical tape. That is what I did on both of my trucks. Check out the pics on my website...follow the link in my signature.

Anyway, its a link to an avalanche website which shows a flag bowtie replacement - I am looking to buy one of these...

oh, you should've said you were looking for the flag ones and not the stripe ones. I used to make the flag ones, but now I have someone else making them since I lack the free time to do it.

I used to make them, but becasue of the demand I wasn't able to keep up with them so a forum member on the chevy avalanche fan club forum took over for me and bought up all of my supplies. I'm not sure what price he is charging for them, I think he has the details in the link. But, as far as I know the flags are vinyl decals over a stock bowtie and clearcoated. The stripe ones that JP Custom sells (which I still make for him) are painted on and clear coated.
