Look or better burn?

for around 80 bucks, should I get a Billet overlay grille, or a Hyptertech Distributor cap/high voltage coil?  I think I'm just gonna get 300HP BEFORE I put on fast burn heads.

the previous question remains, but now a new one I just sent to FlowTech techs:

 

I am wondering as to the performance differences between Flowtech Shorty Headers and Flowtech Afterburner Headers, both for a 1990 Chevy Silverado 350 2WD. I am going to install true dual exhaust with a X crossover pipe with magnaflow mufflers, and will most likely get rid of the cat-convertor. My goal is maximum performance so, with the dual system described, which headers would work better, the Shorty or the Afterburners?
