HPP III owners

Those of you that own/use one, have you been happy with it?  Any problems with it?

Dont really know if it was worth the $279.  I only use mine for the larger tires and shift firmness

 

If i had to do it over again id still buy it

You have the option of power tuning with either regular or premium gas, right?  That's the way I understand it. And that is only under wide open throttle, right?

Tom, i havnt gone over the tuning options, but i do think you can do as you say.

 

I love it, but not for the power tuning.  Ive calibrated my speedo for my tires, and just recently  adjusted for 4.56 gears.

Cool, I'm looking mainly for the speedo/tire recalibration and shift firmness, put if the power tuning is there for regular gas (which is what I use most of the time), then that's a plus.

I am pleased with mine.  I bought it a couple of weeks ago.  I may be interested in selling it.  I am thinking of trading due to my warranty problems.

Where did you get it for $279?  I couldn't find it for less than $330?

I got mine at a local parts place.  I got my 285s on a thursday night took truck to dealership to reprogram and they told me they couldnt (they did tell me a few wks prior they could) so i went to the local place figuring i would be paying up the wazzoo but the guy was $279 plus tax i should have bought a bunch and sold them

tom i love mine i also wanted to recalibrate for my tires, changed the shift firmness and eyerything else i could do with it ,bought mine at the auto parts store where a buddy works 267.00 for the hpp111 and $45 for the power stat.
