Road master Active suspension

Recommended Posts

I've had them installed over a year now. It helps with the stability of the truck when carrying loads also a big improvement on the stock springs. While installing the roadmaster suspension, I also installed these at the same time as the velvet ride shackels.:

I installed a pair on my 2001 2500HD after doing a block kit, to minimize wheel hop. Seems to work ok on washboard gravel roads - but need to put some more miles on it and more road conditions. The most noteable change is that it helps eliminate some sway when accelerating in a corner. It looks cool too - nice tight spring atop the rear of your leaf - visible from the side. Doesn't appear to change the ride quality either. neat product! I paid quite a bit more than $200, but it is for an HD application...

They quoted me $195 and free shipping.  They said they were "on special".  Don't know if thats true.  30 day guarantee might not be enough to really test it unless it was timed particularly well.  I use the truck alot but don't load it up near the limit every month.  Don't know - that might be the next mod.
