Bed Rails

Recommended Posts

I am looking to add bed rails to the truck and have a couple of questions.  It looks like you can add them on top of Bed rail caps.  Is this true?  And are there bed rails that use the stake holes to attack to the truck?  I hate to drill any more holes than absolutely necessary on the truck.  Last question is what brands do you all recommend/not recommend.  Thanks for the help

I have Better Built stainless steel ones on my truck with the GM BedaRail caps.  They also mount in the stake pocket holes.  Easy to install, only need an alen wrench, which I think they may have included.  Can't remember what I paid for them though, it was a couple years ago.

I have the Putco shorty Pop-up locker Rails on my truck (w/ toolbox).  They are stainless and I am very pleased with them.  They were a little expensive though at $225.  I have them on top of Wade Bed rail caps.

(no online pics yet, but I can e-mail privately if you like)
