best truck toolbox? (across the bed)

Recommended Posts

I had a heavy gage plastic one from Delta that held its shape well, (some of the cheaper models seem to bend in the centre making them look junky)  The lids locked well and never ran into any issues with the door hardware.  However after 3 yrs it started to leak I got rid of the truck so I did not bother with it to much near the end.  A friend has a metal toolbox by delta that seems well built and I think the metal ones look a lot better.

pullin,

I'd say hands down that the two best boxes are  weatherguard and rawson-koenig.  Both of them are so well built that you basically just swap trucks under them.  They are kinda expensive as compared to deltas or something but are really cheaper when you compare the quality between them and a cheap box.

You can see them at www.rawson-koenig.com and www.weatherguard.com
