To answer your above question for Jason, for a graphite interior you need the paint to match kit, so you'd have to paint it yourself, or you can pay 20 dollars extra and he'll do it for you.  Paying for him to do it is probably the best way because after you buy all the painting stuff the total would be pretty close.  I just painted mine gloss black, along w/ the steering column trim and dash bezel.  Gives the truck a different look.

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. For your graphite interior, you will want the Paint-to-Match kit.

I'm working on getting a picture of the Paint-to-match kit up on the site. I just got my digital camera back from Sony, so I'll be adding more pics soon.

Somewhere around the 2001-2002 model year, GM changed from an all black steering column color to a graphite/blueish type color for the steering column and steering wheel. The trim piece in the Paint-to-match kit is a graphite color. I've had customers buy it and never paint it and it looks great and I've had some customers buy it and paint it. It all depends on your model year of truck (and type, Tahoes and Subs still have the black steering column) and if your steering column trim is black.

If yours is black, pay the $20 and I'll paint it to match your trim. If yours is the graphite/blueish type color, buy the paint-to-match kit unpainted and check if out first before you decide to paint it. It may match your steering column perfectly.

It would be a lot easier if GM would stick with one consistant color from year to year, but they like to make small changes that no one notices until you start to get detailed.

If this still doesn't answer your questions, feel free to email me. I can answer a lot faster with emails.

Cool, thanks Jason.  I have the Graphite one.

I took my instrument cluster out this weekend and found that the lights (for the gauges at least) ARE 194's.  However, they are the 194's that have a plastic base.

I can't recall if these plastic bases are removable or if I have to buy a 194 with the base already attached.  Anyone know?

You can remove the stock base socket, but the 194 bulb wires are soldered to the base.  They will easily snap loose with a small screwdriver though.  One thing I noticed though, the metal tabs (for the connections) on the socket are on the sides of the socket, so you will need to move the wires on the bulb to match up so you get contact.  At least that's how my '99 was.  :)
