2. I've looked into car manifold swaps, don't remember everything. Basically a LSx car intake sits lower than the trucks, and a pulley or belt will be in the way of the throttle body. I think people sell idler puller relocation brackets to fix this or swap to car accessories. Water pump neck needs to be moved, either twisted out of the way or bent. Truck fuel injectors will not work on a car intake as they are taller and will hit the fuel rail, there might be spacers or something out there. The wiring for the car fuel injectors is different and/or needs some splicing/brazing. This is all on a GMT-800 BTW.

3. Car intakes aren't really too beneficial. He might see 10-15whp on a stock engine. A lot of guys on PT.net have swapped to car intakes and gained nothing, nada, zilch at the track, however they were LS6 intakes. I'd wait until I had a 400+ inch motor with heads/cam/headers before I put a car intake on, and the only car intake I'd bother with is a FAST 90/92 or a Edelbrock Vic. Jr.
