Anyone tried these?

Sylvania Silverstar headlight bulbs. I've seen one post about them over at the Pacific forum, and they guy said they were a big improvement. He said he got all 4 for $99.00 at Autozone. Advance Auto Parts sells them for $14.00 each here. Anyone else try them yet? I may go get me a set of low beams to start off with, since that's what I have on most of the time, then get a high beam set later on down the road. Looks like they won't have that blueish tint to them, which I don't want.

I've read the same thread over at Pacific Car and Audio. No experience with them personally. Sounds like 14.00 is a good price though.

The other day I had someone behind me right at dusk turn their lights on with those blue-tint bulbs installed. Looked like someone fired up an arc welder.

I'm sure someone out there can speak from experience on these lights. I only have the hi and low mod done with mine...

I have no experience driving with them, but I hear there great. I do not think I will ever have them though, I cannot stand them when an oncoming car on a two lane road is using them, they are two bright!!

tom, i recently put them in my low beams and like them .

very white NOT BLUE at all and a little more output on normal nights, but when ts raining there a little worse than stock, not enough contrast i guess and the road soaks up the light a little, thats why i have fogs though

I've been looking for something like this. For $14 I'll give them a shot on the low beams.

Well, after going back to Advance Auto Parts today, I realized I looked at the wrong price tag. They were $24.somthing each! So around $100.00 would be correct. A little to expensive for my wallet, for headlight bulbs. Sure made my stock lights look alot better after seeing $24.00 each!

I didn't see anything in the link to Sylvania's web site about a price, but I may have missed it. I had said they were $14.00 at Advance Auto Perts, but was mistaken, looked at the wrong tag on the shelf. They were $24.something each at Advance. ???
