96 Vortec
Just curious if they did anything for you after installing them?
76BBSub
Personally I've never thought they were worth the effort, you end up underdriving the alternator and I think the water pump, too, which I would avoid. Alot of the HP numbers I've seen for the power pulleys were listed with other mods, like the power programmer and low-temp thermostat, so I don't know that they provide a huge gain by themselves. Z16
Power pulleys work great out on the highway for passing and for drag racing. But if you drive around town you may experience overheating and the alternator runs slow, which won't be too big a deal unless you have a big stereo drawing lots on the battery. FULLSIZEChevydotcom
Actually, that used to be the case, you can now find pulleys that will overdrive the alternator and powersteering pump and underdrive the crank...check with ASP pulleys... www.fullsizechevy.com
