Favorite mod or accessory?

Recommended Posts

What your favorite thing you've done to your truck?  I think mine is my Westin step rails.  Unfortunately, I have not got many performance mods yet, except for a drop in K&N filter and a 40 series Flowmaster muffler.  But I hope to put on a K&N Gen II kit and maybe a HyperTech Power Programmer III within the next year.

I can't choose. I like my lift and my wheels and tires. They both set  the truck apart from others. My wheels are really pi$$ing me off lately, so I guess my lift is my favorite.

I would have to say my bug deflector and mud flapps.  They have greatly helped in protecting my paint.  Gonna get some diamond plate aluminum running boards to help since the flapps don't stop enough of the rocks.

Oh yeah my box liner is the best thing.  That has saved my box from so many dings and scratches.  They are absolutely wonderfull.  Can't say enough about them.

Hmmm...  I like my my Leer cap and BedRug the most.  The Westin CPS nerf bars are pretty nice too.  I'll be ordering a FIPK Gen II before the end of the month so I'm sure it'll be near the top of the list!!!

I got two favorite mods, one is performance and the other is apperance.  Performance would have to be my heads.  Apperance would have to be 2" drop shakles on the rear-end to level the truck stance.

My least favorite is my Holley Intake, its a pos.

I've only made one mod, the Herculiner. It's the best investment that I've ever made.

I want to do some performance goodies, but I really haven't found anything worth my money yet.

  • 2 weeks later...

DynoMax CeramCoat headers and Super Turbo mufflers with 2-1/2" pipes.  Sounds great, not too loud, and with the other mods I've done (Performer intake, Accel ignition upgrades) it's boosted the power of the old 454 noticeably.

And, they look cool under the hood.

At this point in time I'd say it's my Flowmaster but I really haven't done too much to mine yet.

Frank, so how do you like that flowmaster? How loud is it? Any HP increase?
