O2 sensor?

Recommended Posts

You need to buy an item called an O2 simulator (O2 SIMM for short).  It tricks the PCM into thinking that the post cat O2 sensor is still functioning properly.  You simply plug it into the lead for the post cat O2 sensor.  But before ordering you'll need to verify whether it's a square connector or flat connector.

How the system works when stock with cat in place is that there is a pre-cat O2 reading and a post-cat reading.  The post cat reading should be lower than the pre-cat, I think the threshold is 90% of the time.  In your case, there is no differentiation between the two, triggering a DTC.
