When I first saw the pictures, I thought "that'd be a cool place to go on a road trip! Where the heck is that!? NORMANDY!? Nope! I can't drive the truck there..." (or at least not all the way there)

They allow Dodges to be imported to France?

 

It is a private import as mine. The US truck are only imported by private or some Professionals (4 in France) specialized in the import of American vehicles . Regrettably but never imported by Dodge, Ford or Chevrolet who sales a specific range for Europe. And when you import an US truck as mine in France it is very complicated, specially for the standard. For example I need a document from Chevrolet Europe (this document say that the Silverado is not approved in Europe as a vehicle of big series and say that some parts are not usual in Europe or France), and Chevrolet Europe (in Netherlands ) refuse to make this document because it is a Chevrolet from USA and they are not Chevrolet USA ! it is a story as Kafka ! (Bureaucracy :jester: )

Its sounds like it was quite the process to get it, but I'm sure it was well worth it when you finally recieved it :lol:
