Just wanted to post pic of truck with 2.5" level kit and 3" body lift with moto metal 951 wheels and 285 65 18 tires.

Fill me in on the 3" body lift, I have the 2" level kit and did not know you could also do a 3" body lift!! What brand body kit?

Looks awesome, just raise up those step bars.

I thought they were low also, do you know how I would do that?

I've never done it, but you should be able to drill new holes in the brackets 3" higher. Hopefully someone who's done it can pitch in.

I saw a picture of this guys truck online that had the same package that I have now so I asked what my intaller what he thought about it and he said that it would look good on my truck and he said there would be no problems with it. I have to say I was very impressed with it. I am coming from a truck that had a 4" suspension lift and the truck that I have now is only 1" shorter than the 4". It still rides like stock, I decided that I did not need the suspension lift since I did not go off roading that often so I did not need it plus I did not want to spend 2000 dollars for the suspension lift. The body lift is from performance accessesories kit # 10193.

I have a 3 inch Performance Accessories B/L and Westin CPS step rails on my tuck. They have been on there since 2002. After installin the B/L, I cut and redrilled new holes in the rail mounting brackets to raise them up. I could only raise them just over 2 inches because of limited space to redrill the new holes, but it worked out good because I thought they were too close before. My foot kept hitting the bottom of the cab when I stepped on them. Now my foot doesn't hit. I would think there are differences in almost every brand of steps, so you'll just need to look at yours and see what you got to work with. Make sure you measure, measure and measure. You don't want to cut anything too short.
