2007 Silverado Mods.

So you guys have any advice for perf. parts for the 07's? I have a 2007 5.3 LT Flex Fuel Ext. Cab. I haven't been able to find a place that has a good selection of parts and mods for the 07's and up. Anyone?

Well I wish I still had my 04' to take advantage of those parts. Anything for the NEW 07-08 Silverados?

Same here, I'm mostly curious about adding headers to my truck...would adding headers increase mpg's? or will they simply add some mid level power?

I got intake, custom exhaust, and headers, with a minor tune, im getting 23.9 mpg at 65 miles an hour on cruise control.

 

intake is 63 series knn

custom mandrel bent exhaust with magnaflow muffler

and JBA headers with Titanium Coating.

 

Trucks running strong, with custom tune should be in the mid 14's

On that note...headers it is...so now comes the big debate...shorties or long tube? Since I just purchased the cat-back exhaust, i'm going to have to go with the shorties...do you think I'll recieve similar results?

Don't believe you'll find long tube headers.

 

Your options are Gibson and JBA. I put Gibons stainless headers on my 01 8.1 and after 74,000 miles of running them, no problems.

 

Gonna put em on my 07 as well, and a cat back.
