any feedback about GIBSON headers? and where can I find good/cheap website that sells oe for my nbs 5.3?

 

dumb Q: what will be the case if I installed headers before I upgrade exaust system?

Don't get gibson headers, get yourself a set of JBA all Stainless Steel Headers or the complete dynomax package and I'd deffinatley wouldn't even consider changing the headers until you do an exhuast the stock muffler will be to restrictive.

Does anyone know how the exhaust sound will differ when adding headers? Will it change at all?

shorty's wont do jack...long tubes are the way to go, but you need to delete the rear 02 sensors unless you get long tubes with the bungs in them. If its shortys your looking for dont waste your money keep the stock manifold in that case.
