Below are some pics of my 99 GMC Dually 7.4 4x4, the first pics show it after a good clean but due to this crap UK weather its now always dirty as its been raining every day for the last 2 weeks!!!

The first pics show it as it was when I bought it. I have since fitted a new front grille and lamps and a nice new shiney GMC emblem :uhoh: Give me your reviews.

Looks good! So what are the red and white lights on the back for?

Tell me about it, those lights ruin the look of the truck from the back end, but if I took those off it would make the vehicle illegal in this crap country of the UK im living in. Basically the red is for rear fog lamp and the white is reversing. Due to the fact that in the UK the indicators must all flash orange so therefore when the truck was imported in 1994 the rear indicators flashed red which is ok for the usa so therefore we used the reversing lamps in the factory light and modified the wiring so that we could fit an amber bulb for use as an indicator. Thats why we added an additional lamp under the bumper to replace the reverse light. The fog is a legal requirement over here, it would not pass the annual test that we need to have each year without it. I cant wait to move over to the USA :uhoh:

'Sum crazy laws.

I dont get the fog light. If it is foggy, you turn on your lights,Unless you are hand full of a-holes around here that dont) That makes the fog lamp kind of redundant. :uhoh:

The rear fog is used only when its that foggy you cant see the car infront, its there for uk safety reasons, they say you can see it further away than the factory rear lights. A load of bull really but the law is the law.

The exhaust sounds awesome, when it came in to the UK from Florida in 2004 it had to go through whats called an SVA test (single vehicle approval) which basically is a check to make sure everything matches the uk law. The lights all had to be changed up front to show white light on side light and the indiactors on rear had to flash orange not red, then of course the fog lamp had to be fitted. The noise from the exhaust was too high so had to be softened down with 2 big moderators which of course I removed as soon as it was passed  SO now its running a straight through pipe with just 2 cats and 2 mini silencers, still sets car alarms off that are parked down small roads.

This truck is that wide that it only just fits on some of our main roads and the back roads well, lets just say its a struggle when a car comes the opposite way.:eek:

Thanks for all the comments too.
