Power

now that i have an air intake,mass airflow sensor,exhaust,and PCM tune, im being told that theare is nothing i can rilley do to my 2001 GMC 5.3L to get more power except get a supercharger. is this true or is he just full of s###. if so what elce is theair to do.

If you mean just bolt on stuff...he's absolutely right.

 

 

If you got the cash....there is next to unlimited potential.

 

like was said...cams, torque converter, head work,

Theres also bore and stroke, blueprinting, ignition upgrades, nitrous, injector blueprinting, fuel system upgrades, the list goes on....

 

If your not putting atleast 600hp to the wheels your no where near done with the NA side of your engine.

600whp on a DD? all motor? i doubt that.. i dont know maybe im wrong..

 

i kno u can make 350whp pretty cheap and easy. and keep it street drivable

 

You can come d**n close on an LS1 motor. My buddy has a normally aspirated camaro with a 350 LS1 (cam, heads, headers, tune, etc.) that has dyno'd at 525 HP at the wheels. He could have gone even more agreesive on the cam and heads , but didn't because it's one of his daily drivers.
