Very cool looking truck. I think that it would look really good with the front end raised to make it level.

I agree. Leveling the front is probably the best mod that you could make next to your truck. Fender flares would look good too. I'd also add some mudflaps or guards, cause I bet those BFGs can really sling the rocks.

I see a fairlead and winch cable under the front bumper -- I've never seen a winch that didn't noticably protrude from the frontend like yours. Sweet.

thanks for the input guys... what is the best way to level the front if cost is not a issue? i actually bought the truck at a dealership and it was gm certified.. unusual they did this with the non-stock tires... i do have to add a step bar for the wife.. would a long one or foot one look more proportioned for a regular cab? on the fender flares should we go color smatched smooth or black textured? and yes the winch the previous owner did a good job installing it.. whats everyone's vote?

I think a full-length step bar would look best. As far as fender flares, color-matched will look a lot better than black against your dk. blue paint.

I've never messed with torsion bars, but I don't think it costs anything as long as you have the right tools and advice.

yeah.. i am just wondering if the previous owner adjusted the torsion bars just enough to make room for the 285's.. i know its not level.. i was thinking the color coded ones as well... anyone got any smooth flares they wanna sell? anyone have a preferance for a good quality step bar? that will have to be first.. she is already bitching about getting in the truck..lol

I'd crank up the Torsion Bars.

I'm not a big fan of step bars, but if you must, I think whatever you get, Black ones would go with the flow better than chrome ones. But alas, it's not my dang truck it's yours. So in the end make it what what you want.

X2 on the Torsion bars and chrome step bars.

If it were me, and I didn't want black bars, brushed stainless is a happy medium. You get the contrast a chrome bar offers, but none of the bling factor.

But like the mas said...its your truck...you do what makes you happy.

Oh and BTW...that is a nice lookin ride man.
