Have you tried putting the chip back to stock to see if that is the problem? good luck.

Your limping the transmission. This is not a good thing. By keeping the truck under 2000 rpms, its the computers way of protecting the truck from doing more damage to the transmission. What setting do you have the super chips on? Read up more on it at dieselplace.com. Basically you are shortening the life of your transmission. I believe its the clutch disks that are slipping.

Will is right. Sounds like a limp, and the more you do it the easier it is to reproduce. You're wearing out the Alli with your chip. I have 100K on my HD and I finally had Suncoast fix my problems after eating up the original Alli with my mods.

Arn't your panties in a knot. I was simply agreeing on what you and Ryan stated. The programmer needs to be removed to rule out this as the problem.

Maybe you should have selected a different emoticon if you were agreeing, calling someone stupid is not a good way to win friends.

It's your fuel filter. It happens to my 2005 D-max every 8-10k miles. Now I have it changed at every 8k miles to avoid it. We have almost 100 D-max trucks in our company and this is the most common problem.

Good luck

these allisons have more failsafe programing than you can imagine ,you can tear a cooler line of and it will live,I think to its a code and it is defaulting to get your attention and it worked ,I think chips are a waste of money, the cost of alli and d-max parts would scare you stupid, god help you keep your money in your jeans ,these things are fast enough stock, have you tried an 07 yet?good luck to you friend.

You could have a fuel pressure issue. Besides replacing the fuel filter a quick check is pull the oil dipstick to see if it's over filled and smells like diesel fuel. If it does get your injectors replaced they should still be under the special policy warranty this is assuming you have a 1 motor.
