motorcycle accident

I know this isn't on topic with Trucks but I just wanted to remind anyone who rides motorcycles to be careful because it only takes one person who isn't paying attention to come across the yellow line and hit you on your bike. A friend of mine got hit last weekend while we were coming back from a rally in Lake George NY. Click my link to see the pictures I took of the accident.

Actually, the SAAB looks worse than the bike to me?  Really glad your friend is OK.  This is why I don't own a bike.  It doesn't matter who's at fault, the guy (or gal) on the bike is going to pay for it.  With all the idiots on the road, you have to know that you will eventually be in an accident (odds are that you will be in several).  Knowing this, I'm just too big a chicken to ride a bike.  Not putting down people that ride them, just saying that you are braver than me.

I'm glad your friend is OK. By looking at the pictures it's hard to believe he survived. I ride too but it's not my primary transportation.

i know a guy who was on his bike when a guy in a mini van (on the phone) began to get into his lane, he nearly hit the bike.  the guy on the bike began to slam on the window and the driver of the van saw him and got back into his own lane.  you always gotta watch out for stupid people.
