If you've been liking all the signature banners you've seen on the forum, you can get the details on how to get your very own in here.  But, if you ask, what is a signature banner, it's the graphic in the signature of quite a few members here.  Here's a few examples of ones that I've made:

So, if you would like one drop me an email at:

And just attach the photos you want to use, or send a link to your photo album.

Your Contol Panel>Personal Info>Edit Your Profile> and you'll see a box that says "Your Signature"  From there add the image tags, w/ the url.  It should look like this, minus the *:

[*img]picture URL[/img*]

The pic must be a gif or jpg format for it to work.

I realize you know how to do most of this, but might as well say it all in case anyone else needed to know.

I'm not sure if picture trail allows external linking, but if they do, right click on the photos and click Properties.  Then, just copy the URL that is displayed.

If they don't allow external linking just PM me w/ the link and I'll upload the pic to my site for you.

Hey, you don't need to feel stupid, I bet there's a lot of people out there who have been waiting for someone to ask that question.

Actually you can link to picturetrail, you just have to fake it out a little. After uploading you pics set up one to be the cover of you album. It will ask you if you want to preview the cover and when you do you can right click, check properties, and copy the url. Here is an example.
