Newbie Looking For Help With Denali 6.2 Tune?

i have been reading and dont see much on the tunes for a denali. i have a sierra denali and I am getting sick of the tranny jumping and the lapse in response from the pedal. Will a tune help these problems and how do I go about a tune. I am not very mechanical and have been trying to determine what would be best. WOuld a predator programmer work and is it easy to figure out how to set the tunes? or would I be better off ordering a wait for me tune and just plug it in. ANy help is appreciated!!
