Pictures Of Trucks With 285s

I am thinking about putting 285/75/r16 on my half ton 2000 Silverado.

I do not want to put a lift on it, I have cranked up the torsion bars and I hope the tires will fit.

 

Does anyone have 285's on their truck, know where there are pictures of such. I want to see them

A bunch of you folks are putting her down for her looks :rolleyes: Now, I'm the first to admit I've never been in a Hooters, nor as far as I can see will I ever go into one. I'm 68, and I just don't see that happening, in this lifetime anyway. Hooters = female exploitation = not my thing. That's my opinion, don't expect everyone will agree with me, but my opinion anyway, and I'm stickin' to it.

 

But, the real reason for this post is, again, IMO, she's a good lookin' young lady. Look at her eyes, their gorgeous. Maybe that isn't the part of the anatomy you guys are lookin' at, but, again IMO, those aren't too bad either.

I don't know maybe it is the expression she is wearing that makes her look like an alien, I don't know, but I do know whoever decided to use that particular photo instead of another one did it on purpose. I am sure the photographer had better pictures of her than the one taken, but obviously didn't get her "good side".

Do those of you with 285s on your truck notice any significant difference in power compared to when you at 265s or a smaller tire on your truck? Are there any differences that you noticed.... ride quality, gas mileage, etc..

 

My ride quality increased a little bit with the bigger tires. My front suspension is a little harsh since I leveled the front end out and the extra weight helped to slow the suspension down a little bit. I put my stock 265/75s back on in the winter and I can tell there is a little bit of a difference in response with the 285s on... it's not a lot but I can notice it - just have to use a little more gas to chirp the tires with the 285s, that's all. As far as gas mileage goes, I don't really track it - partly because I'm too lazy and partly because I don't really wanna know out of fear of what it would be... haha.
