Nbs Shorter Replacement Antenna

I'm really wanting to replace my NBS's antenna with a shorter (probably 21") one but can't find any that fit. The NBS has such a large antenna post that none of the standard after market antenna masts will fit. I have searched and searched but have yet to find one. Any of you boys had any better luck?

You could cut yours down and add a vinyl tip to the end.

I found that one but it was done on an old body style. I wasn't sure if the same procedure was done on the nbs. Did you change out the cowl, and if so do you have a p/n?

No cowl piece available that I know of but if you will read the entire thread, you'll see I posted how I did the delete, with pics.

I want to replace my anrenna as well with a little stubby one. So the bottom stalk is fatter than most after market stubby antennas? I'd like to find one though. I'm afraid of mine getting ripped off somewhere.

You can always relocate it as I did. It can't be stolen that way and it looks better. It has been some time since I looked for differents masts, they may be available now.

I replaced mine last week with a black chrome billet one from ebay. Perfect fit and I still get good reception where I live out in the country.
