New guy, my S-10s

Well, it looks like most of you are into 4x4 and lifted trucks, but here are my little trucks. I also have a '77 Blazer with a 4" lift and 35" Super Swampers that I use for offroad, but it's pretty ugly and I don't have any pics of it. I welcome all comments, questions, and (constructive) criticism.

This one is my 2wd '89 S-10 Blazer. It now has a 383 V-8, TH700r4, 3.73 posi, and is lowered 3/3.5". I just got it done a couple months ago and it's my summer daily driver.

This one is my 4wd '85 S-10 Blazer. It has a MPFI 350, TH700r4, and stock 3.73 axles. Stock height. It's been my daily driver for almost 5 years now since the v-8 swap, but will be my winter-only daily driver now that I have the 2wd.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I got way too much time, and money, tied up in these trucks. But I guess it keeps me out of trouble. Well, maybe I shouldn't even say that, with my driving record. Lets just say I have a very hard time turning down a race. I just never get tired of seeing that look on people's faces when their Mustang or Camaro gets beat by a truck. But me and the wife have our first little one on the way, so I'm sure that will cut down on the spare time and money for my trucks.

Oh yeah (LOL), but it's worth it in my opinion.

I couldn't agree more.  It'll also cut down on all that pesky sleeping time, Sunday afternoon sports time, Fri & Sat night with the boys time, middle of the day time, dinners out time, favorite TV show time, nookie with the wife time, shower time.....

But suddenly you'll have lots of time to change diapers, wipe up the spitup, pickup the toys, wash 2 extra loads of laundry, hide all electric sockets, walk the floor at 2 AM......

And likely, you'll treasure every minute of it-

Wow, sounds like you all have some experience in this area. And I'm sure you are all right too. Just about my only experience is a 2yr old nephew. I'm probably in for a surprise, but right now I'm still hoping to be able to scrape together some late night garage sessions once in awhile. I'm kind of a night-owl, and my normal sleep schedule is only 4-5 hours a night, so hopefully he/she won't cut into that tooooo much. I told the wife anything up to 3am is mine, and anything after 3am is hers. We'll see how that goes. :) But lets just say I haven't scheduled too much for winter projects this year.
