Clock resets itself

My truck is about 8 month old. So far the clock has reset itself 6 times. I ask the dealer about it, and of course they never heard of this. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like a short in the memory feed to the radio or part of that circuit in the radio, even though your presets aren't affected.

I've had this same problem a few times, (three maybe).  It only seems to effect the clock and not the pre-sets.  I just thought it was my kids playing around, guess not.

 

I will check with the dealer the next time it goes in (when ever that is)

Yes ~ I've heard of it on another board. Several incidences. The fix was the dealer changed ou the radio. IIRC there was a TSB on it also ~ odoh

I think odoh is right on with this one...  I recall hearing about a TSB about replacing the radio too...  although I can't document it.  ???
