First Round of additions

Recommended Posts

Did I do ok on the prices?  There are not many places to go around here so the selection is kind of slim

Westin Chrome Plated Stainless (CPS) step bars-$389 installed

Window tint (15%) all 4 roll ups and back glass - $130

Rhino-liner (under the rail) - $319

Still want to get a tool box, diamond plate, one that sits on the rail, with a single door and as deep as I can find. Prefer one that does not require any drilling into the bed. Any suggestions?

Going to to try to borrow a digital camera to post some pics

Well, I can't vouch for the price of the step bars but I can say that the window tint is a good price (for a job done well, of course), and the Rhino price is excellent. I paid $450 for the same thing!    I guess prices in Jersey are a whole lot more then were you are...

Prices sound good to me. I do think all step bars are over priced regardless of who they are made by.

As for the tool box. Whichever one you buy should have holes in the part of the box that will rest on your rail. Then you can buy some j-hooks that hook under the rail of your bed, come up through the hole in the box, and fasten with a 1/2 inch nut and lock washer. I think mine were about 3 bucks. Can't hardly beat that for cheap.

I'm sure you already know to make sure you have enough protection between the box and the bed. Now that you won't have any holes you sure don't want any scratches
