I like the GMC front end better, but I am probably partial to GMC anyway.

 

Is it just me, or do the towing mirrors look cheap?

Well I for one LOVE the new look.  Maybe cause I just ordered one!  Actually I dont plan on looking at the front end from the driver seat to often.  Im sure Ill get used to it.

I'm going to have to get an in person look at the 03 trucks before I really make my decision on them.  If they don't look good in person, and the new gray color doesn't look good I probably won't be buying a new GM truck when I finish college next summer.  (Can you say SRW F350?)

 

I will say one thing for certain though.  There is no doubt in my mind that Ford still has the best trailer tow mirrors of the big 3.  The GM version look cheap, too small, and they have those stupid a$$ turnsignals in them.  I just wish GM could use the same mirrors as Ford, those mirrors are perfect for anyone that tows regularly.

Man, I'm really starting to shift away from GM trucks and going more towards Dodge every day.  GM's styling is just going out the window with this model year.

 

What is up with this Avalanche frontend?  Yuck.

 

Those are towing mirrors?  Talk about being tiny little things, may as well have just regular things hanging off the side.

 

I do have to agree with that earlier comment about the GMCs looking better.  They do, even though the front bumper on the GMC makes it look like its smiling.

That frontend would look alot better if it had a SFA under it.  

 

I'm just glad I got my HD when I did and didn't wait another year.

As a veteran of two Dodges in a row (sold last one and bought wife a minivan) I wouldnt be so quick to jump to them.

 

I had no problems with the power the Dodges had, but the transmission/drivetrain were a mess and the interior fit/finish quality was terrible. It didnt seem it at first, but as the trucks aged they just turned to crap.

I wont even get into the horrible dealer here, but every brand has horrible dealers.

I have seen the new trucks in person (chicago autoshow).  I can say they look better in person than in photos but i still dont like them.  Really disappointing cause i LOVE the new blue color (so does my gf).  If they had close to the old styling i might have traded mine in (oh my god did i just say what i think i did?) but i cant get over the looks.  Ill keep my 2000 until they redesign them and go from there.
