Exhaust?????????

I was wondering How many people have the Flowmaster Muffler on their 8.1 HD?  How is the sound cruising down the Highway Loaded and Unloaded?  Is it pretty loud in the cabin?  I am thinkin of going this route with the pipes coming out ata 45degree angle at the bed corners.  I don't care about loudness outside but do not want it resonating so much inside the cab that I have to yell to talk or turn up the radio that loud.

So your saying that you want to make everybody elses live a living #### but dont want to be bothred with the sound yourself.  Sounds normal.

This is what I mean maybe have to explain it but I have the american thunder system on my 2001 Z28 and I love the sound but can hold a normal conversation in the car with windows down or up and no yelling.  I talked with an exhaust shop and he said I might want to stick with the stock system because he has had too many complaints about resonating inside the cab so loud they can't talk to anyone inside the cab it is just too dam loud but outside it sounds normal rumble.  He has tried many different brands of mufflers but it does not matter but he did say the 6.0 is worse than the 8.1.  He says it is mainly under load pulling a trailer or going up long hills.

For what it worth, I had a couple guys ride on my tailgate for about a mile last week, and they said the exhaust note was pretty darn nice for a stock system!!!

Well, I have the 6.0. I was going to go with Flowmasters too. When I went to my exhaust shop to make an appointment, he was just finishing up a  HD. It sounded very good, so I asked what they had put on. It was 30" true dual thrush pack system. It had a very aggressive sound and virtually no resonance in teh cab. So I had it done. I am very impressed with the sound. So if the 6.0 is suppose to be the worst at making resonance in the cab. The 8.1 should sound bada$$ with the same system. For what its worht, I had mine exit at the corners.
