towing my camper

I recently went on a trip to Martinsville V.A. for the races & to see my dad on his farm. i took my 24' camper my three wheeler my wife, daughter, and brother in my 2500 hd. it handled perfectly. i love tha truck! the susp. didn't flinch. plenty of power, but there could've been a little more. i felt i had to really step on it to get a little more response at crusing speed. mabey because of the load. i wonder how the hypertech programer would help. this was a warm up trip from nj, a 6 hr drive one way. in aug. were going to myrtle beach 13hrs one way. all in all i love that truck . thanks for listening.  demeat.

I agree...  These trucks love to carry weight!!!  My Travel trailer is a 32 footer and I agree a little more power from the 6.0L would be great, but I'm still thrilled with the way this truck tows it.  I towed it with a 5.4L triton and it was awful...  and I towed my old 30 footer with a 5.7L (non-vortec) and it was pretty rough too...
