How many miles do you have on your 6.0 liter motor?

2004 2500 HD with 6.0. had about 250,000 when instrument cluster finally died and I drove it for another 2 years. So about 300,000. Always ran synthetic oil (dont really know if it mattered) But that truck ran great for all 300,000.

My 2000 has 214,000 miles. Never had any transmission issues or engine problems.

I have nothing to brag about other than I've no issues with 50K on my '05 2500HD Siverado. It's been a true creampuff since I bought it in '11 with 24K on it.

had 15 2500hds in fleet I was manager for . All ran at least 9200# with utility beds and rail gear all the time with 19.5X245 tires all were automatics with 4:10 rearends been using this setup for over 20 years using 5.7 liters until the 6 liters came out. the 5.7s were good but the 6 liters seem bulletproof usually ran them to 250,000 miles only had one not make it (driver neglect) usually made that mileage in 6-7 years tried to order new at end of lease (6 yrs) and 250,000 miles drivers were on call 24/7 in all types of weather, and being idled from start to finish of call. Had very few tows. Transmissions usually lasted 175,000miles fuel pumps 100 to 120 thousand.

I remember reading all of the knock threads after I bought my truck in 01 and it scared me to death. Here we are 14 years and 194k miles later and still runs strong!

272.200 miles on mine and runs like a top.

Great oil pressure yet, and other then little stuff like wheel bearings and a transfer case, been a great truck.

My dads work truck with the 6.0 has 430,000 miles on it, nothing but regular maintenance done on it.

My 05 just rolled over 193000 Miles, no cold knock, smoke, tick or nothing. Runs just fine.

I've got a 2000 2500 6L with 322,000 km that runs great other than leaking valve seals and a hole in the muffler and never any engine knock. I thought it was getting a bit old so I bought a 2008 2500 6L with 200,000 km and I'm not too impressed. It knocks on cold start, fuel mileage is terrible, it doesn't the same power as the old one and there's creaks and rattles from all over inside the cab. I'm seriously considering selling the 08 and putting a little money into the 2000
