Water on exhaust and on side of block!

well filled up truck went threw the normal routine of checking the oil! hahaha !!! anyway looked at the drivers side head there is a plug that has redish brown moister all around it as well as the exhaust manifold! guess im going back to the dealer!! ???

Sounds like normal condensation as a byproduct of combustion.  Perhaps a exhaust manifold gasket is bad or not completely tightened.

yea i hope so. i bought this truck on the 18th of jan. and im already at the dealer.. man i like my truck now i gotta go take it to them and get a loaner.. OMG! cant imagine what that is.. hahah.. well i pulled in this morning i was 1/2 quart low just got the oil changed at the dealer on wed. anyway i got to work pulled into the garage stopped at the gate. went to leave shifted right into 2nd and shutterd then went up downshifted and drove fine. then i stopped at my space put in park heard loud klunk noice! i want to scream!!!!!

2001 gmc hd2500 8.1 w/Alli 4:10 gears. bought new jan 18th 2002 with 10 miles has 6200 miles and has been to the dealer twice and this time my baby didnt get to come home with me. water leak or something plus trans at dead stop changes into 2nd gear or something and wont hardly move shifs back to 1st and drives off. pulll to complete stop put it in park makes a heck of a noice like i slammed it into park while rolling..
