Two-by-four-by poll

Recommended Posts

I currently own a 4x4, bought it when I lived up North in snow country.

If I stay in the South where I belong, my future trucks will be 2x4. I'm not interested in mudding or trail riding, unless I'm dirt-biking.

I went 4X2 because I do not use 4X4 enough to justify the extra 5 grand on the cost of the vehicle and higher maint cost but maybe 5yrs down the road cash flo permitting 4X4 would be kewl.  For now ill keep up with my financial planning by buying lottery tickets and going to casino's...

Same here..   2wd here.  No one can believe it though.  The dealer that sold me the truck even thought it was a 4x4 w/a lift when I went back last week.

Everyone was asking about my 8100/Vortec decals.

If you could get a 1500 4x2 with the 4.10 rearend it would kill the 4x4.

Depends on what environment you are using it in.  If there's a foot of snow on the ground, will that 4x2 "kill" a 4x4?

Plus, later down the road, when traded in or sold outright, a 4x4 will still retain it's value better than a 2wd.
