amsoil filtration system

Quite possibly.  I would lead towards the "yes" side, however, I cannot give you an exact answer as this is a "grey" question.

Why is it "grey?"  Because it depends on the nature of the warranty work being performed and the dealer's feeling towards aftermarket modification(s).  Some dealers are cool, some aren't.  Best advice is to talk to the service manager, explain what you want to do and get his feelings on it.  Also, if you do install this system and you take you truck in for warranty work on a power window, the two aren't related and as such, they can't deny you coverage.  See where I'm going?

From dealing with GM warranty claims (from working in a service department, the reason I say that it would most likely void your warranty is because GM has to foot the bill for warranty claims.  While GM may be cheap on other areas, one area they DON'T skimp on is lubrication systems.  The factory system is more than sufficient for most needs, unless you plan on running upwards of 7,000rpm.  As such, any modification of the system could raise eyebrows.  Especially if the zone rep gets involved.

It's not so much a "no-no" because in reality, the filtration system is most likely better than GM's.  However, if something should go wrong, then they can blame that filtration system as it is something that GM hasn't certified from the factory.

If you came into our dealer, we wouldn't care for the most part.  But there are plenty of them out there that if you make cosmetic changes, they're ready to void your warranty.
