Anyone notice the price of the DuraMax went up

I checked out a window sticker this weekend at a GMC dealer, the DuraMax package is now a $4,810 option. This up from $4,200 when I ordered my '02.

The Duramax has been a $4810 option since shortly after it started production. I understand that some guys who put in very early orders were able to get the original $4300 price honored, but I know the sticker on my 2001 shows it to be $4810. Was the $4200 a part of some discount package possibly??

Hmm, when I ordered mine I breifly thought about going to Diesel. When we priced out the option it was $4,200. Of course, maybe I did get a discounted price on it since I've only bought about 10 vehicles and used to work in the service department of this dealer.
