I got it

Recommended Posts

Back on January 8th My GMC HD2500 was ordered and I just received it on February 12th.  I ordered a Onyx Black GMCHD2500 Extended Cab 4wd 8.1/6speed SLE.  This truck is very nice.  I was surprised on how well this truck rides and the power from 8.1 is awesome.  Any way now that my truck is here I will be asking questions and help answer any of yours that I can.  I will be posting pics probably this weekend on my webpage and will let you know.

I am getting the bed Rhino lined Monday.  I will be buying some new wheels and tires and a shell within the next month does anyone have any suggestions on tires, wheels, and a shell?  What are some prices you guys have paid on shells? I live in Kansas City.

Sounds like a nice truck!!!  I know you'll love it!!!  The 245/75/16 stock tires look awful.  265's will fit perfectly and 285's may need a small amount of cranking on the T-bars.

I have a lear cap (shell) on my HD and I think it is nice.  I paid arounf $1100 for mine but it has the carpeted head liner that adds about $100.  Here is a little pic of my set-up...

Without a doubt, BFG All Terrains are the best looking tire and also work phenomenally.  I have the LT285's on mine on the stock PYO wheels but they aren't a perfect fit as the stock rim is too narrow and as such causes them to "crown" a little.

Someone here posted the pics of their wheels and they were "stonecrushers" or "rockcrushers" which looked pretty sweet.  I think pics of it are in the thread titled "Silver Bullet HD"
