A.R.E. Truck Cap for 2007 Silverado

Had the cap on for a few weeks. Like it alot! Good color match, great quality, very useful. Makes the truck look better, adds 190lbs to the rear for winter (2wd truck). Seems to help gasmileage SLIGHTLY on the highway, about 1-2 mpg or so. windows vent out, have screens, clothes hangers, LED light, front window tilts down for cleaning. Held in place with simple clamps, but they work effectively. Put a layer of foam between truck cap and bed rail to avoid scratches, can be taken off in literally 10-15 minutes. Wind noise is a litte more with truck cap on,. and visibility is obviously cut down. I bet if I got the rubber insert that goes inbetween the rear of hte truck cab and the front of the cap, t would eliminate teh noise a lot!

overall, very satisfied, and with the price of $1700 installed...I put a rubber mat in teh bed ($50), grat addition to a pickup! things don't slide at all, and dogs love it. Sprayed the insde of tailgate with bedliner, and it works well also (dogs don't slip when getting in and out and obviously won't scratch.
