Roof Marker Lamps?

My 2002 2500 HD CC/4x4 Silverado didn't come with the Roof Markers and I was wondering if anyone here had them installed at a dealer? If so, how much did it cost?

I know they are MUCH cheaper factory installed but this truck didn't have them as ordered. No biggie. But I would like to get them put on - IF it's not an arm and a leg to do so.

Why? I just like them and I think they look great!

Experiences?

I've never got a price for the lights on the new style trucks but my dad had them installed on his 98 and it cost about $300 the dealer should have the template and if not, I'm sure they can get one.

Yeah, that $55 is gonna seem like a great deal considering the parts alone are going to cost around $240 according to what I read on another forum. I don't know what a dealer charges for labor per hour, but with having to remove the headliner, drill several holes, and run the wiring its probably a several hour job.

My truck came in with them on it, and it is probably not an option I would have gotten even though it is inexpensive, but I've really grown to like them and that triple light in the center is "very cool". It kinda makes me feel like I'm driving a "big truck".
