Anybodyas fussy as I am

Recommended Posts

My new HD is being built next week and will be here hopefully by the end of the month. My last two new trucks(A Ford and a GMC) both had the 8ft. box and both boxes were noticably crooked. Both had to be shimmed to make them look respectable. both dealers implied that I was too "fussy" The new HD will be a Chevy, and I hope I won't have to be as "fussy" Anybody else experience this?  I kindo of think that spending $30,000 give you the right to be "fussy"

Welcome to the forum and I agree w/ you 100 percent.  I mean, if you pay 30 grand for a new truck you want it to be perfect.  Can't say that I've had any problems w/ my bed being crooked, but I'd say you would have every right to be fussy and if the dealer didn't see it that way then you can go to a different dealer.

I agree also. You have every right to be as fussy as you want when shelling out that much cash. ####, I only spent $11k on mine and I'm already to start "fixing" things to get them as near perfect as I can

I hate dealers like that.  You have every right to be "fussy"!

I once had a 91 Camaro RS V6 stripped to nothing that was a lemon POS.  Was going in to the service dept. every other week.  I had a meeting with the owner of the dealership and he said it was all in my head and I worried too much!

HA!  I showed them!  Contacted the BBB auto line and won. Ended up getting a 92 Camaro RS with the awesome(LOL) 305, ttops, power windows/locks, cruise ctrl. etc for 20 bucks less a month!
