Spray-On Bedliners

I really like the Arma coatings...

Alot depends on the person doing the work.  Around here the ARMA guy is excellent and treats your truck like it was his...

I'm guessing if he had bought a Rhino franchise then I'd be saying the same about Rhino.

The lesson is, look at the work the guy has done in the past...  I think they are all pretty good but they are only as good as the person who applies them...

I had an Ultimate Liner put in mine, I choose it because people at work had it done by this guy a few years back and the work was excelent.  I just had mine done about two months ago by the same guy, excelent work, treated my truck like his. I paid $400 for a long bed.

I also agree that you should look at the quality of the work.

I've got an Arma coatings liner and couldn't be happier w/ it.  Very high quality and a perfect job.

My buddy has a truck dealership here in town.  Everytime they get in a used vehicle with a bed in rough shape, they have it Rhino lined.  They tried a few other brands but Rhino gave them the best price and results.  People who'll buy a used truck seem to know the Rhino name and its a big point for resale -

Just to throw another option into the mix. SpeedLiner has a tensile strength of 4,200 psi and a tear strength of 610 lbs/in compared to 2200 psi. SpeedLiner can be made in any color, even two-tones or graphics and is color stable, and is a non-skid textured surface.

Having said that. I don't think you can go wrong with any of your choices or suggestions.  We don't have a Line-X dealer here, but have three SpeedLiner dealers. Probably so, since they are in Houston, TX. I have seen RhinoLinings, Line-X,  and Herculiner-equipped trucks and they look fine, too.

Don't DO NOT get a permatex liner they are junk and you will be wasting your money they look good new but dis-color quickly and don't plan on using the bedliner to actually protect the truck bed because it won't.  I know this because my 99 Silverado had one and I hated it.  I have a Rhino Liner now and I really like it my dad has a LineX and he likes it a lot.  I do believe that if you use the truck a lot that the LineX will hold up better to abuse that's just my opinion.

Turbo Liner was unveiled at a autoshow last yr and represents the latest in sprayins. Not everyplace has a franchise dealer yet. Still, the urethane (vs Polyurethane) attributes are attractive. A plus is that UV protection is part of the basic coating ~ not an additional charge. ~ odoh

I'm sure that there are several good brands available.  As Shaners observed, the person who applies the product is critical.  I have had two permatex liners and have been well pleased with both.  My trucks are used like trucks and the permatex liners have held up to everything I've literally thrown at them. :idontgetit:
