Heater on my 2002 2500HD

It seems that the passanger side heater blows harder than the drivers side heater. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Welcome to the forum,

I've heard that some trucks are missing a heater duct extension that is on the drivers side. I'm not exactly sure what it looks like though...

TSB 01-01-37-008 address this problem. Passenger Side of Vehicle Colder/Warmer than Drivers Side (Repair HVAC case to Cowl Seal). Should be covered under warranty.

is this an intermittant problem, or on all HDs, I have never noticed it on mine!

I have an '02 3500 crewcab Duramax which has the automatic temperature controls. Works flawlessly so long as the temperature shown on the rear view mirror is above the mid to upper 40's. Below that it blows very hot air with the fan at what appears to be close to full speed .... will literally run you out of the cab. Will be in the shop this week for the second time for repair. Anybody else had this problem?
