went muddin.....

well this may take awhile, but maybe your as bored as me. it all started tuesday, it was raining, it had been raining, and was going to keep raining, so some girl dicides we are all going to her house and are going muudin'. i was down for it so i started planning. saterday rolled around and i dicided it was time to finally replace my cv joint. i started at like six and didn't stop till 1a.m.., luckily a cold front blew in so i was freezin by then. when sunday came, my truck was still on blocks, but after several more hours, i finished, and was happy to find the popping was gone. but that morning i got a call and found out that the girl had "forgot" to ask her parents, so we wernt going there and instead were headed to a buddy of mines. fine with me. so me and friend jumped in my truck and headed out. while on the way, i could here a horible whaling noise from the wheel i had been woking on. we couldn't figure it out, then it hit me, i pulled over, climbed out with some pliars and pulled the disk guard off the brake disk and the noise went away. on our way there, we got a call that said our friend and his bronco were headed home, that sucked but o well. 10 minutes later we get a call saying my friends z71 is stuck and he need some help. this is what we show up to find...

after alot of work and about 2 hours. we got him out. then they get a call from thier dad saying he didnt know we were taking the trucks and how angry he was and that he's headed there now. so we scramble to pack up and head out. we finish and they tell us to go while they finsh loading the trailer. we get off the property and get a few miles down the road when we see an f-250 pass by(his dad) we call them up and found out they didnt make it out in time. they got chewed out pretty good.

then i get home and my buddy heads out, i get 10 minutes of rest then another friend calls and asks if i can help them get unstuck. i think"sure, it'll only take a minute", after 20 minutes trying to find the place, i show up to find this....

he tried to cross the creek and didn't have a chance in hell.

after 20mins. of tuggin, i relized this might take awhile... all i managed to do is get him parralel with the creek. so we called in help in the form of a bronco on tsl's, he tried to pull and was unsuccessful. so we decided to hook up and pull together. i hooked on to the front of the bronco, and we both put the hammer down. the jeep almost rolled over on to its side, they said the side tires were 6 ft in the air before it finally turned and came out. these are the pics of us about to leave(4 hours after i arived), i went home and slept, sadly the rain washed all my war paint off.

Probobly mildly drunk and thinking 4 wheel drive will go thru a swamp

Just gotta know how to mud I guess, I took my old Ford (2wd) thru some rough s**t, only got it stuck once in a corn field after harvest. It was usually caked. Good pics tho, truck looks mean as hell. Before I got my 03, I was debateing wether or not to get a Z71 and get 4" susp lift and some 33's or just get a small full size like I have now and make it quick. I live in a redneck town all 2000 ppl of it

it was his first time muddin it, i guess nobody told him that your bumper has to clear the cliff if your gonna have any chance of making it. and he broke rule #1 of creek crossin, "dont hit it head on, take it at an angle if possble."(even my mom knows that) and stock tires aren't the best mudders.
