Nice truck, I am also looking to get a replacement bumper and grill guard ( 1 piece unit) for my truck. What brand is yours? There is a place real close to where I live that manufactures these called Bradford Built. They make flat beds tool boxes grill guards front and rear bumper replacements. How heavy is yours? I have a 1500 so I am a little concerned about the weight on the front end with ones of those things.

Our gun laws are B.S., there are to many whinny people up here. Its on par with homo marrige and Islamic religious rights., which is beyond logic. Hunting up here is phenomanal.

Anyway, the bumper is a "Buck Stop" brand bumer from the U.S of A. It was a pain in the ass getting it up here, but well worth the weight(no pun intended!) Yes its heavy, very heavy. It weighed in at just under 300lbs. . I feel for the guy that ends up cutting me off. Unless you have a 1500HD I wouldn't be putting the bumper on a regular 1500. Your truck would be eating front end parts. I used a forklift to assist with the install.

I was affraid of it being to heavy for my truck. I just can't stand those flimsy brill guards. I suppose I could always get a one piece grill guard that is not as heavy. I know Ranch Hand makes a nice one but even those arent the lightest things in the world.

man i really want that bumper but i think that sucker would be bitch to install and maintain my front end. It looks like it is made out of plate steel.

But i know ranch hand makes a lightweight version of there replacement bumper for GMC but i think it is still in the 150lb range

Yeah I have looked at Ranch Hands version and I dont think 150 lbs would be to much for a regular 1500
