Man I would love to have another jeep. I had one at one time and as a daily driver I hated it. But I would love to get like a '78 or '79 CJ and just park until I wanted to go play or something. We have a pretty nice off road park here in NE Kansas that can be pretty fun.

1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ

2.5L 4 Cyl. (17 mpg)

Red with grey interior

Suspension:

- 4” Pro Comp springs

- Pro Comp front control arms

- Rear Holeproof Industries long arms

- Pro Comp polyurethane bushings

- Skyjacker steel braided brake lines

- Rubicon Express adjustable track bar

- Trailmaster long travel rear shocks,

- ProComp 9000ES front long travel shocks

 

Drivetrain:

- AX-5 transmission with synthetic, new clutch, throwout bearing, slave cylinder, slave master cylinder, Advance Adapters steel braided clutch line, and pilot bearing

- New NP 231J with slip yoke eliminator and synthetic fluid

- Novak brand transfer case shifter eliminates the OEM body/frame mounted T case linkage

- Dana 30 front axle with Yukon 4.56 gears, completely rebuilt axle synthetic filled

- Dana 44HD rear axle, Yukon 4.56 gears, Aussie brand locker, Northern Extreme Customs bulletproof diff cover, axle truss, and full axle skid, rear disc brakes, synthetic filled. Very durable, I completely rebuilt this axle before putting it under my Jeep. I eliminated the sway bar to get more flex out of the rear end.

- rebuilt front CV driveshaft and rear HD shaft with hybrid U joints and spare trail rear driveshaft

 

Engine:

- 4.0L throttle body modification for more power

- Bombproof M.O.R.E. motor mounts

- K&N air filter

- Optima red top battery

 

Chassis:

- Holeproof Industries full roll cage, Ties into the body and frame. Completely contained within hard or soft top. Windshield still functions/folds down just like stock. Over 900 dollars worth of custom fabrication, made with drawn over mandrel (DOM) tube. Weighs only 1.5 pounds per foot

- Holeproof Industries rocker guards and front stinger, custom fabricated out of DOM tube. Both are made to protect the rig during rollover in offroad situations

- homebrew front and rear bumpers. Front is a gull-wing style bumper, and rear is a trimline style rockcrawler style bumper

- LED tail light conversion. LED’s are 10 times as bright as OEM brake lights and last for app. 100,000 hours

- Rubicon Express hand throttle mounts to transmission shifter. This is a remote mounted throttle handle to control the gas pedal by hand in rock crawling situations

- Neoprene red and black seat covers

- internal mounted fire extinguisher and bracket

- internal mounted Hi Lift jack mounts

- Flex a Lite Mojave auxiliary heater runs off of engine heating/cooling system

- new full soft top with tinted side and rear windows

- Bestop safari bikini top with mounting bracketry

- Warn 9000 pound winch mounted on Collin Brothers brand winch mount

- 35x12.5x15 Goodyear MTR’s mounted on AR-767 black steel rims

 

Upcoming mods include flat fenders, inboard LED turn signals, swing away tire carrier, 4.0L motor/T18/Dana 300 4 to 1 swap, comp cut, onboard air
