Alaska Edition Sierra

Here are a few pics of my new Sierra Alaska Edition. Ya, I know the AK edition is only a few add-ons and a cheesy decal package that I don't like, but the price was good and I can take the decals off.

It is dirty from the drive home from Fairbanks

 

 

The Alaska edition came with heated seats, step bars, a drop in bed liner, the silly little decal package, bug guard, rims

Nice truck.

Heated seats would be nice.....for those cold Canadian winters. ;)

 

And the stickers will make your truck go faster so you may want to keep them on.

I guess as a Texan I was being a little concieted. There is also a Texas edition Silverado and I figured it was just a Texas thing.

These must have all come from the same GM Seminar on how to make extra profit selling trucks by foolling people into thinking they're speical..

 

I am a Texas resident but I bought this one from New Mexico 50 Miles away.

 

"Sierra Special Edition"

 

Has "Sierra SSE" decals on the side and sewn into the headrests. (It's not really visible in the photo.) Event though there's actually a Sierra Special Edition Package, this one is meant to be a copy without the expense of the actual SSE package from GM.

 

The only add-ons by the dealer were dark tinted driver and passenger windows, embroidered Sierra SSE Headrests, Sierra SSE decals on the side and stupid looking pin stripes that are supposed to look like electricity but actually look like someone scratched the crap out of it.
